microsoft-nokia-thumbWhile previously most technology news was dominated by Microsoft and Bill Gates, that isn’t the truth anymore. That news now sees what they are called of Samsung and Apple while technology has migrated to mobile devices. Microsoft appears to be changing that by placing plan in motion to acquire one-time mobile phone giant Nokia. Will reintroducing themselves to the mobile game change lives for the one-time tech leader?

Nokia already stood a name for themselves in the cellphone business. They were early pioneers and at once had the best-selling cell phone of all time. Much of that changed using the introduction of Apple’s iPhone. Nokia continued to dominate the market, having its closet competitor being Microsoft’s Windows Mobile, but 12 months later Apple’s mobile system pulled before Microsoft and cut into Nokia’s lead. Microsoft experimented with regain what you lost by revamping their mobile operating system, however it simply wasn’t enough to overtake Apple and Samsung, who was simply quickly rising with this market, enough to overtake Nokia and its lead.

Is Microsoft too late to get Nokia now? Can Microsoft get back in the mobile game using the addition of Nokia’s mobile business?

More than a third of the responding believe wearable technology will be the next big thing, while somewhat under thirty percent think it is interesting, but that’s as far as they’re prepared to go with it. Twenty percent aren’t interested on this at all, figuring wearable technology is simply a fad that will soon be forgotten, and also the remainder are waiting to see what other tech products they’ll produce to be worn.
