iPhone 5S’ 64-bit A7 Chipset is just for Marketing Gimmick, doesn’t improve Performance

New Apple’s iPhone 5s has a 64-bit A7 chipset having a 1GB of RAM. Wait an additional! “1GB of RAM for 64-bit processor”? Intriguing uh!

Apple claims that 64-bit architecture could actually double speed and satisfaction of the iPhone 5s when compared to older iPhone 5. ExtremeTech discusses about the new A7 chip which Apple uses on the recently announced iPhone 5s which claims how the 64-bit architecture from the A7 chip is just for marketing purposes, to make consumers think they may be getting the best hardware.

ExtremeTech do have a point here, for utilizing a 64-bit architecture like A7, you simply have two reason why. First would be to surpass the 4GB RAM limit on 32-bit architecture and second, to completely clean up all of the cruft and garbage left in the previous implementation of an 32-bit chip.

iPhone 5s happens to be a great smartphone with stunning features. Consumers are already impressed with built-in security feature of iPhone 5s called “Touch ID” along with the improved camera. But, what's the point of Apple for introducing a 64-bit architecture to new iPhone 5s? For with the device’s RAM on the current iPhone 5s that is no reason for use of an 64-bit architecture.

The only improvements may occur for the performance from the iPhone 5s, 's the reason of an architectural improvements which was executed by Apple in handling the 32-bit code.
