Got 200 Cameras Lying Around? Camera Dominoes

http://videohive.net/?ref=gimmegfx

Okay, none people may actually own 200 cameras, however, if you did, how would you react with them? Well Warwick Williams and the daughter decided they will play dominoes. Some may laugh in the cleverness of the idea, others may wince on the sight of each and every camera falling down to the next. Either way, it will probably be the one time the truth is 200 cameras used for this purpose:

This isn’t the first time that cameras have been used by (more creative?) purposes other than their original intent. Von Wong and Andrew Kessler partnered to create a Nikon shutter symphony, as well as years ago, 2D House developed a very elaborate Rube Goldberg machine using only photography gear.

Perhaps it’s something about photographers and their creative minds that spark these ideas. Photographers want to think beyond your box, challenge the restrictions of things and, apparently, the idea and intention of photo and non-photo gear alike. This is why the thing is that so many photography “life hacks” and DIY projects to create your own portable tripod or light reflector or what have you. It’s this mindset that enables us to create such beautiful images. We don’t handle things at face value and now we don’t handle things for granted. We think, we imagine, and that we create.

Genius? or Really Bored?

Having said that, if I had 200 camera available, I might think about something else to do with them.
