Pin Twitter lists and user profiles to the Windows 8 Start screen

If you adhere to a lot of Twitter users and lists, but have a very just a handful that you simply track closely, the modern Twitter for Windows 8 has a feature you may be interested in. The latest update on the Twitter app from your Windows Store now allows you to pin your preferred lists and user profiles for the Windows 8 Start screen.

Combined with all the upcoming Windows 8.1 release that allows you to customize the Start screen, you can dedicate a bit of the Start screen for your Twitter profiles and lists that appeal to your interest the most. Here's how:

From the Windows 8 Twitter app, go towards the list or user profile which you want to pin, then right-click anywhere on the window. If you use a tablet or touch screen, swipe up through the bottom edge. Tap or click "Pin to Start," found in the lower left-hand corner. When the list or account tile appears, name the tile, then tap or click around the blue "Pin to Start" button.

After a few momemts, you ought to see the live tile update with tweets from your user or list you added. You can also click or tap for the tile to visit directly to that user or list inside the Twitter app.
