The six steps must start with content and format. Let’s admit it; you are able to have the ideal formula in place from top to toe but if your content is bad, no-one will ever know because nobody will ever read it through. The perfect formula will become with short, crisp paragraphs for scan-ability factor.

1. KISS (Keep it Simple, Stupid)

If it is possible to write short, informative paragraphs comprising crisp sentences in everyday English, you have the first step down cold. Just remember KISS and you’ll be fine.

2. Seeing is Believing

I personally am not just a big fan of video in article writing but if it is precisely what floats your boat, do it. However, please not stick a cooking video within the middle of articles about the correct way to clip your toenails; that’s likely to stick out just like a sore thumb.

3. Bold and Italics build your Point

Do 't be afraid to work with bold and italics to help help make your point. If it is exactly what it takes to help you get where you are going with a difficult or complex explanation, it really is perfectly fine so helping the scanners to keep on point. If you feel strongly enough about it… underline it as well!

4. Subheadings Rock

Too much to stomach at once? It’s not just a college admission test, about to catch pleasing academics who grade you with the amount of gibberish you'll be able to fit in an individual sheet of A4 paper. Want your readers to keep going? Break it down and give subheadings that inform them what is going to happen in the next 3-4 lines. And then, you may rock.

The numbered or bulleted list is the greatest way to reach out from the page and draw a reader back. If you find yourself caught up with lengthy content, which is sometimes unavoidable, convert it into a list whilst them reading.

These six steps to an ideal article or blog each time were all about formatting. The formula assumes that, being a content writer, it is possible to produce interesting, original work without the benefit of long paragraphs and bulky descriptions. Save that stuff for your novel.
