Google Chrome: make the browser to read the text to you

If you have poor vision, or are too lazy to read a Web page, can Google Chrome read it for you. Make Chrome read them with the extension Chrome speech.

Chrome talk go to the page in the Chrome Web store and click Add to Chrome.

When installed, it will open a new tab with Chrome talk app along with other installed Chrome apps.

Now, open any website and highlight the text you want Google Chrome to read. Right-click it and select read the selected text.

It will read the whole text for you.

It can read random text you and. Open a new tab and click the Chrome talk app. This will open the Chrome speech options. Type the text you want chrome to speak and click the button to Speak.

Customize options such as its voice, language, volume and other basic settings from the options page.
